The Wurmgerg with its slopes is considered the largest skiing area in northern Germany. It also has the largest and most modern snow-making system in the Harz Mountains.
At Hexenritt, the Wurmberg with its wide and flat practice slope offers ideal terrain for learning to ski and snowboard. But advanced and expert skiers also have the opportunity to ski the challenging, partly alpine slopes from the highest mountain peak down to the valley.
The Wurmberg cable car and numerous lifts then quickly take skiers and snowboarders back to the top.
